First of all, Happy Father's Day to a five star Dad and Grampa!
Always there when you need him.
It was a beautiful day...even felt warm by mid morning. Little Wonder and I started off as usual
and went out for chores at 8,
Gary headed to Brockport for coffee, and when he got back I went down to the farm market.
I was very impressed that there were so many vendors this early in June, and there was a lot of shopping going on.
They usually have music there and today it was right up my alley. Oldies.
This was the most unique item out of everything. She deconstructs the cupcakes and then layers and decorates them with all kinds of good stuff. She provides a spoon and you eat it right out of the container. What a creative idea.
I bought some asparagus and stopped over at my friend Joan's to drop off some strawberries. We talked so long we decided to go out to lunch at the Millhouse.
After that we stopped at the new boathouse to see what was going on.
There was an open house for people who were interested in seeing what was there and some joined the Brockport Rowing Club. I took this video of some people who had brought their own skulls and somehow it ended up in slow motion. I should have worn my glasses to see what I was doing.
On the way home I stopped at Country Max for 8 bags of shavings.
By then it was almost 2:30!
We had the first hibiscus blossom (since they were moved out to the porch).
Jenny, Scott and Finn came up for a Father's Day/Jenny's birthday dinner. Her friend Hanny sent her this incredible box of candy and she wanted to show it to us! A piece of art!
Jenny made a salad
Gary grilled some hots and hamburgers....
I roasted some potatoes and heated up the leftover cauliflower casserole.
When we were almost finished eating all kinds of sirens were going off and stopped a couple houses down. Scott jumped on my trike to see what was happening. That was quite a sight!
Apparently a car went off the road and rolled over.
When he got back, we had strawberry shortcake for dessert.
They left at 8 and I got ready to do chores.
This was a very long day!
Night all.
